- For local channels the zap2it listing may have two channels - one analog (for example "2 KTVU") and one digital (for example "702 KTVUDT"). Use the digital channel name "KTVUDT".
- Check the "Enabled" field to enable support for the channel in SageTV.
- Repeat for all channels detected. Click save to store your changes. (window will remain open)
- Leave the channel editor window open, you will need to refer to it in the next section.

Troubleshooting
The remap numbers will only be shown in the channel editor if you select "Digital Cable".
If you get a video playback error then check you video codec settings. From the main menu:
- Click "Setup"
- Click "Detailed Setup"
- Click "Audio/Video"
Try both "Overlay" and "VMR9"
Some channels are not detected immediately by SageTV (eg, music channels). Try waiting 10 seconds for the channel to appear.
