But they were using a Roku Stick and subsequently experienced the No volume issue. So they gave up and purchased YouTube Live TV.
Hardware Model: HDVR-4US-1TB
Firmware Version: 20231214
Device ID: 152023D0
I came out with an onn.Device to replace their Roku Stick and found that the HDHomeRun is Fecked up.
I have turned on the "Send diagnostic information" on the device.
Symptoms
- When Performing a "channel scan" with the HDHomeRun Setup windows software, the "Channel Scan" results in an incorrect number of channels found (43-48). It should only be (32-38) and the discovery completes way too fast. It also only displays 9 channels in the resulting "Channel Editor" listing.
When the HDHomeRun App is run, it displays "Record your favorite shows with HDHomeRun DVR".
Discovers the device but the initial Device Scan has two entries for this same ID.
On opening the Settings/Devices
First entry (no filesystem) and the second entry shows ("check Mark").
By selecting the one with a check mark, I get a video window pop up but with the error message " Unable to play channel: Protocol error". I can select one of the other nine channels but then I get this error "Unable to play channel: Communication error"
When navigating to the Live, Recorded, Discover, Tasks page the Recorded Tab shows "Your HDHomeRun DVR wasn't found"
