Hi,
As it sounds like only the upnp autodiscover which is broken, is there any way we could just enter the url for the lineup json or xml instead, eg
http://hdhomerun.local/lineup.json
or
http://192.168.1.86/lineup.xml
in some settings somewhere?
HDHR stopped working on my Chromebooks (Devices not found)
Re: HDHR stopped working on my Chromebooks (Devices not found)
In the meantime, I have installed an app from Play Store called Perfect IPTV Player. This needs the URL to the m3u file so I entered
http://192.168.1.86/lineup.m3u
And I then get a view with one tile per channel, which I can click to watch that channel
Not as good as the proper HDHomeRun app (no program guide etc.) but it's OK as a stopgap until Google undo the upnp clampdown they recently imposed, or other workarounds are available in the HDHR app

Bumping in hopes for a reply to Daysoy's responses from SD. I would love to be able to watch my HDHR on my Chromebook again.

Have you tried installing the Kodi app and then add the HDhomerun PVR Client add-on? This works on my chromebook but currently the HDHR app is also working.

Still having the same issue where my 4 flex is only recognized occasionally when I open my app.

This is still on our radar.
