Beyond TV Lineup Configuration

  • If you don't already have an account on SnapStream.net, run the BeyondTV Setup Wizard
    • You can skip or ignore most of the steps, select "Create a new SnapStream.net account" and enter an email address and password when prompted.
  • Enter a friendly name such as "HDHomeRun Digital Cable".
  • Set the Lineup Type to "Digital.
  • Click "Import Channels".
  • Go through the wizard and select cable then select your digital cable provider.
  • Tick only the channels that match the channels enabled in the HDHomeRun Channel Editor.
  • Click "Import" when complete.
  • Upload "Digital Cable.xml" which is found in the following directory:

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Silicondust\HDHomeRun
Vista: C:\ProgramData\Silicondust\HDHomeRun

  • All channels should now have a "Major Channel" and "Minor Channel" number; delete any channels which are missing these numbers.
  • Click "Save and Exit"
  • Click the start menu and run BeyondTV Setup Wizard, again.
  • Configure BeyondTV for "Antenna (Digital)"
  • Select the HDHomeRun as your capture device
  • Select "existing lineup" and use the "HDHomeRun Digital Cable" lineup you just created.
  • Complete the setup wizard and launch BeyondTV
