I have the Brix i7 model. I have to say that i am quite pleased with it as an HTPC. I packed it with 16gb ram and a 120gb intel msata HD. I have 2 HDHR (original) and 2 Primes for tv viewing. I had to use tunersalad to get all 6 Prime tuners to work. Due to the amount of tuners i have the mSATA drive was not sufficient enough so i opted for a 500gb Toshiba Canvio Slim for all my recordings. The drive is usb3 and i use a script that moves recordings older than 1 day to my Synology NAS. I also have 4 extenders connected to the BRIX. Overall this little PC performs very well. I have yet to run into any real problems with it. One issue that i ran into which was easily overcome is the 29/59 bug. This is remedied by disabling dynamic contrast in the intel control panel. Since the unit is so tiny and comes with a VESA mount i took the mount and used some drywall anchors to mount the PC behind my LCD. It makes for a very clean looking install. Nothing in sight except the USB IR receiver. Hope this bit of info helps you out.
