I have tried Twonky and Twonky Video and both find the prime and then channel list but it will not play back. My device is a sony xperia SL phone and only has h.264 built in. The tuner seems to lock on the channel [solid tuner led for a few seconds then flashes] but does not appear as a picture or audio. So the tuner moves on to the next channel.

I have HomerunTV app with Vplayer working on this phone. Vplayer does not see the prime on it's own.

Model: HDHR3-CC
Firmware: 20130117beta1
UPnP Browser: XBMC 12.0
Video Player: XBMC 12.0
Device: gBox Midnight
OS: 4.0.4
Kernel: 2.6.34
SD: mostly good, but occasional crashing/freezing
HD: non-functional (buzzing noises, pixellated, crashes XBMC shortly after starting)

Network: MOCA bridge (for testing I used an actiontec router usually attached to an XBOX WMC extender. in that setup, plays smooth HD from the prime even with multiple extenders running at once on network, so this is likely gBox issue)
(note - gBox built-in wifi doesn't stream any type of video well, but crashed on this test for both SD and HD)

I am posting a duplicate of my other post.

XMBC working very nicely on Android 4.2 with audio. The interface is very clean indeed.

There are so many versions to choose from and I had trouble finding one that would launch, but this is the one that loaded up flawlessly on the Motorola Atrix 4G, running CM10.1.

"XMBC Nightly APK for Non-NEON Devices"

What add-ons and plugins do you have installed. I was running the lastest neon version but couldn' t get XBMC to see any tuners. I have a hox running CM10 (4.1.2).

No audio using VPlayer or MX Player only Video streaming
Audio & Video works when using vmplayer.
Using a Nexus 7 4.2.1

Similar results with XBMC (xbmcapp-armeabi-v7a-debug-2013-01-16-full-neon-db3a436e4157ce8cbb4e2e5e043afd182a326056) on the Asus EEE Pad Transformer Prime (TF201). SD seems to work, HD not so much.

UPnP Browser: BubbleUPnP
Video Player: Wondershare Player
Device: Sony Xperia SL [TL26ii]
OS: Android 4.0.4
Kernel: 3.0.8+1.0.21100-30145-01956g43358ca
Specs: 1.7 GHz dual core 1GB ram
SD: Runs fine within 30 feet of router.
HD: struggles hard but just can’t do it

Failure list – Mediahouse, twonky, ArcMC, twonky video, MoliPlayer, VPlayer, MX Player [in all the possible combinations of all mentioned products].

Have this phone loaded with HDHomerun TV and Vplayer which can deliver SD of equal quality and HD fairly decently up to 30 feet.

EDIT 1/27 - Skifta works with wondershare also... prefer skifta navigation.
