New Zealand uses AAC/LATM for audio. If you do not hear sound in Windows Media Player:

1) AAC/LATM requires the HDHomeRun software release 20090305a or newer. please download and install the latest HDHomeRun software release:

2) Test in WMP. If you do not hear sound in Windows Media Player you will need to install an AAC/LATM decoder codec.

One suitable AAC/LATM codec is the Monogram AAC decoder:

XP:

1) Extract the zip file to C:\Program Files\Common Files\mmaacd\

2) Open a cmd prompt and run:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\mmaacd\mmaacd.ax"

Vista:

1) Extract the zip file to C:\Program Files\Common Files\mmaacd\

2) Open a cmd prompt with Admin privileges by clicking Start, Programs, Accessories, then right-click on Command Prompt and choose "Run as Administrator". Run:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\mmaacd\mmaacd.ax"
